I hope you all had a great weekend! Our family did. I have to say, we didn’t really do much of anything. Which was refreshing. Sometimes you just need a chance to sit back, relax and enjoy each other’s company right at home, in your element. Over the summer it seems like we were always on the go visiting every place imaginable. To the point I think it’s safe to say my children have had their fill of adventure. For now, at least. I’m grateful they love being at home and find joy and happiness here. That’s what I strive for as a mother. Creating an abode {with the help of my husband, of course}, that’s cozy, inviting and filled with love and laughter. And without a doubt, we do a ton of that! We laugh so much together that if our power was dependent on how much we laughed, the lights would always be on and there would be no shortage of electricity. I think we’d actually end up with a surplus we could share with our neighbors!
The other day while I had a quiet mommy moment to relax, I turned to Pinterest and started pinning away. I came across this gem-of-a-quote which I absolutely LOVED! I think I may even make it our family’s mantra:
This is a powerful quote for me. When I created my blog, I gave it the tagline: ”Living Life to the Fullest“. I feel like this quote, “Be so busy loving your life you have no time for hate, regret or fear” is the deeper meaning behind it. It’s how our family tries our best to live. And what I have found is, it doesn’t mean we have to be out and about finding amusement at Disneyland, the movies, museums or the many other countless places we can explore in Southern California. There certainly is no shortage here of things to do as a family. For that, I’m truly grateful. Constant entertainment is just one perk of living where we do. Yet, being at home, in our happy place, is just as fulfilling. If not more so.
We love our lives and are busy living it to the fullest. Is it perfect? No. Nobody’s life is. But we can certainly try our hardest to see the positive in everything. And in the mean time, adore doing the things we are mad about and not having a single ounce of regret, hate or fear as we do. Each and every day.
Happy Monday all! Hope it’s a great one! Now go out and be so busy loving your life you have no time for hate, regret or fear!
